3* QB Jeremiah Briscoe is interested in SMU. Rivals says that he has an offer from Baylor and Scout says that he has offers from Baylor, Arizona, Purdue, and Vandy. Here is the free content info available, with A.J. Justice's commit increasing SMU's chances and QB commits to other schools also playing a factor:

Three-star QB Jeremiah Briscoe of (Houston) Stratford will visit SMU in a few weeks along with teammate A.J. Justice, who committed to the Mustangs yesterday.

I'm really excited about SMU and Coach (June) Jones. It would be a great fit for me. It's not too far away, and it's one of the few Texas programs that is without a quarterback commit." "I got in a hole with a couple of teams," he explained.

Probably not. After all, he's got offers from BCS schools and besides he is from Texas. How could we possibly be interested.

He played at a small Christian school until this year and will have a much bigger challenge playing QB at Houston Stratford. I would believe that SMU will want to see him play a few games first to see how he performs at a higher football classification before offering him. Good size QB.

Tom Lemming rates Briscoe 4 stars (out of 5) in his pre-season magazine!

He has his own show, which is shown frequently on CBS College Sports.

http://tomlemmingfootball.com/

Tom Lemming, a Chicago native, got his start as a stringer for suburban Chicago weeklies covering high school football games. In 1978, he began scouting football prospects, logging his findings in a newsletter he circulated to college coaches and fans alike. Tom Lemming was called “the mailman” as he delivered information about the best recruits to hundreds of college coaches and football fanatics by personally interviewing and scouting players from coast to coast. He continues his delivery by evaluating 1,200 of the top football recruits every year in his prep football tour, powered by NCSA. By traveling 50,000 miles from December through June with his tour, he diligently and tirelessly produces the Tom Lemming Prep Football Report, considered by many to be “the bible” of college football recruiting.

He joined College Sports TV (CSTV) after spending decades as the leading preps analyst for ESPN. Lemming has written for ESPN, USA Today and Sporting News and currently has his own show, “Tom Lemming’s Generation Next,” on CSTV. Lemming also assists with the annual selection process of the top football prospects to participate in the US Army All-American Bowl Game and Combine hosted in San Antonio, TX.

Today recruiters still visit his home during the May evaluation period to watch film on players from across the country. Michael Lewis, author of The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game recognized Lemming as the “only national football scout in America.” To this day, Tom Lemming remains one of the leading experts on college football recruiting and high school talent.

I thought the Baylor and Arizona offers were not on the table anymore due to them having gotten commitments from QB's. I do think the Louisiana-Lafayette offer is still on the table. It should be interesting to see what comes of this situation. Especially if C. J. decides to stay committed to Ole Miss.
