Prescott Line Update

This is pretty great although I'm not so sure it is at the highest level of Michigan high school football.

Absolutely, this was against one of the top teams (last year's champions and this year rated 11th) in the highest division of Michigan High School Football. Here is another article that was printed in the Detroit News.

Perhaps he will be able to pick up the slack when his brother graduates.

I'm glad we are getting this guy. May end up another great back for us like his brother, but I think Prescott is also a great middle linebacker prospect. The guy is a tough hitter and shows good speed. Rivals really needs to upgrade this guy to at least a 3 Star.

According to Max Preps, Oxford is ranked 6204th in the nation and 219th in the state. I guess they will be moving up in the rankings after this win.

Woah! Nice stat line. Prescott is going to be a welcome addition to the SMU family at any position.

I have had both services for just a couple of years, but he is the first guy I have seen that was ranked higher by scout than rivals. Of course, I only look at guys SMU recruits so not claiming he is the only one in the country with that situation.

Talked to Zach this morning, and he said Oxford HS is a 1A school ... and that 1A is the highest classification of schools in the state of Michigan.

Zach said they're pretty proud up there of being the only high school in the country with navy blue turf...
