I wonder if we were ever in the mix or interested here. I'd like to see us pick someone like this up this year to battle it out with Connor and whatever freshman QB they bring in this year after Kyle is done.

I don't think JJ will take just any QB, not matter what school signed him. That position/player seems to me to need a very specific skill set for JJ to recruit him.

I don't know how good he would be in the run n shoot. The kid supposedly has big time accuracy problems. His transfer happened so quick that I am pretty sure he knew where he wanted to go from the get go. I doubt we were ever in it.
