Some Early Juniors to Watch
Posted: Wed Oct 03, 2001 2:30 amI know we are caught up in the thick of football season with our focus on seniors. But I thought you might want to be made aware of some of the juniors in the Central Texas area that we feel are making a statement in 2001.

We don't have a section of our site focusing on sophomores, but there are several to keep an eye on. Burnet has a QB-WR combo in Stephen McGee-to-Jordan Shipley that really impressed us this past week. And Westlake has a JV sophomore tailback who has been anxiously awaiting his time to shine for the Chaps named Tyler Campbell. And injuries have forced Reggie Houston into the feature back position at Westwood where he has shown flashes of brilliance. There are others as well to watch. But we just wanted to give everyone a head's up.
