New FB Commitment

Max Emfinger is now reporting that Brent Karrington, 6'3" D.E. from Highland Park, has just commited to the Mustangs. Emfinger calls Karrington one of the top defensive ends in Texas.

Emfinger also has listed his own son in his "recruiting guide" since his son was 8 years old. The guy can not be taken seriously. Karrington's a good player, from what I've read, but I'll feel better when someone with more credibility than Max Nepotism touts his greatness.

I don't know if he committed, but he was at the university the same weekend my son was. Brent had to leave to play in the all-star game, but came back. He was my son's roommate. His parents were very impressed with SMU, and Brent bonded a lot with the other recruits. He was pretty flattered with the jersey and locker with his name on it.

How did he look, physically? Sounds like he's not a whole lot bigger than Donnie, and Donnie's a QB.
Does he look strong? Like he can add some pounds to that frame?
