2011 Non-Qualifiers

Posted: Fri Sep 30, 2011 3:51 pmNo question having a rivals site helps SMU. The publishers/reporters can talk to recruits and gauge interest when coaches can't. Takes $ to have a publisher/reporter

They do a spiffy job of calling endless recruits, of whom a small fraction ends up at SMU. Rivals and Scout fill other goals and objectives. The stronger all three of them are, the better it is for the program. Don't be ignorant in thinking this is some zero-sum game.

You are wise. I love it here, but if people are to support one, it has to be the one that matters in recruiting. Ponyfans is a great site, but the other is a service w/a legitimate database.
