Anyone else notice the introduction of the TCU football players on the video board before the game? Smart to have the high school football coaches name up with the players name. Think that doesn't make a positive impression for these TX high school coaches? It sometimes is the little things that can make a difference in signing a recruit. SMU does such a poor job in recruiting players when it comes to the people who advise the players the most.....their high school coaches and parents/guardians! I chalk this up to having so many former pro coaches who think more of these guys like players coming out of college than coming out of high school. And they still are doing pretty well anyway but it would be much easier. The old-time coaches all know the most important person in recruiting is momma (or grandma if raising the kid) followed by coach and dad.
