From the Northwest section of the DMN:

"Newman Smith diver Phillip Griffin has signed a national letter of intent with SMU. Griffin was the 2001 Class 5A state champion and holds the Newman Smith and regional record for the 1-meter springboard."

Maybe another future SMU Olympian???????????

Hey-

Was this the guy I saw something on TV about where he also played music as well and he was awesome at that too. That guy was quite a remarkable talent and I remember thinking it would be cool if we could get him to come to SMU.

Anybody know if this is the same guy?
