Mustangs land commitment #3

According to today's Dallas Morning News, Dallas (Carter) defensive end Desmond Jones (6-0, 270) has committed to SMU.
Oral commitments are non-binding. The first day players can sign a national letter-of-intent is Feb. 5.

270 is a solid weight for a defensive end. What kind of speed does that guy have? Sounds like he has a lot of strength already. And if he's a Bennett-type player, I bet he can really run.

Here's a link to DMN's report on Carter High School, and it mentions Desmond Jones. It says he's 6-3, 250.
