Strengths:
Mbargorba is physically gifted center with size, length and a solid frame along with corresponding mobility and athleticism. He runs the court well, is very agile, and quick off his feet for a player his size. He has a strong motor and good nose for the ball on both ends. He calls for the ball on the block, goes to get it off the glass, and is an excellent weak-side shot blocker. He also has soft hands and decent touch, passing instincts, and good understanding of how to bury his man on pick and roll action.
Weaknesses:
Mbargorba has made great strides in the last two years but is still undeniably raw. He has decent touch but still lacks a go to move with his back to the basket and tends to give away positioning when he catches the ball in the post. Defensively, he over commits when rotating from the weak-side of the floor and can be a little emotional at times. He also is a low percentage free-throw shooter.
Bottom Line:
While Mbargorba is still raw, he has made great strides in recent years and now boasts a big time frame and rapidly developing floor game on both ends.

Well here is another one I cannot tell my friends about because I cannot pronounce his name. But I do think this is a good thing.

He would certainly fit the BE center mold.

What a pick up. Blaise is the real deal, just look at those other offers he had. I wonder if us possibly going to the Big East played a role in his decision ;)

My high school played against his (at least it did when I was in school) and to say they beat us would be an enormous understatement. I played — very badly, it should be pointed out — against Peddie four times, and if they had anyone the size of this guy on their team at the team, I might have quit the team, or at least come up with a flu or sore ankle in order to miss those games.

By all accounts, this is a terrific addition for Coach Doherty and his staff.

Also its great to see us beat out three teams from our future conference, Marquette, Seton Hall and St. Joes.

Andy Katz...how do you like us now?

Scout, ESPN and Rivals all list him as committed.
