Ryan Gray, who has been listed on this board as a defensive tackle, is playing offensive guard this year. He might also play defense, but he's definitely playing offensive guard. And he's grown since last year -- he's up to 6-6, 300 pounds.

Also, HP's star running back, Colby Hollingsworth, is now 6-2, 215 and has a very solid, muscular frame. He has shown improved speed since last year (an HP offensive assistant coach said he now has breakaway speed that will allow him to outrun any defense, once he gets into the open field), and has worked [deleted] his receiving skills over the summer. He's being recruited by SMU and Rice, with no early leader.

Hollingsworth ripped up his knee in 2000, and recovered well enough to have a good season last year. But now he says he feels no ill effects, and should have an even better senior season.

As a junior, Hollingsworth ran for 883 yards on 102 carries and scored 12 touchdowns.

Holligsworth was actually heavier last year, since he hadn't been able to train fully with the knee injury. But the kid is ripped now - he has the arms of a linebacker and he's real strong. If he can't play running back at SMU, he's make a hell of a strong safety.

Ryan Gray is playing offense only this year.
Someone that big would fit nicely on our line. Sign him if he can play.
