Tech game recruiting

Texas Tech always recruits the Metroplex. I'm assuming they've invited DFW recruits to take an "official visit" to SMU so they can watch the game, with the hope (by Tech coaches and officials) that Tech will win big and therefore be appealing to recruits.

What are the rules about interaction between recruits and the visiting team? Isn't there some rule that if they come to a game as the guest of the home team, that they aren't allowed to fraternize with the visitors? Is it possible to police that?

A good showing against the Red Raiders would be huge in recruiting, especially after what happened in the opener.

There is no rule about fraternization, but there wont be any official visits, either. UIL rules prohibit football recruits from taking official visits with anyone until their senior year of competition is over. The recruits who show up for our games are taking unofficial visits.
The best way to prevent cross-over visits is to keep the recruits busy while they are here, and away from anyone from the other team. Seat them in a section that is squarely in the middle of our fans. If you have to, put someone from our staff with them to babysit, and steer them away from poachers.
