It's being reported that OL Caleb Poveto (6-4, 275) of Flower Mound (Marcus HS) has committed to SMU. He had an offer from Vanderbilt, and also was being recruited (but not yet offered) by Arkansas, Utah and Kansas State.

Caleb Peveto
Flower Mound Marcus
Position: Offensive tackle
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 275 pounds
40-yard dash: 5 seconds
Bio Notes and Stats: Peveto is the son of Cal Peveto who was an all-conference linebacker at Texas A&M in 1978. In his junior season, he was named second team all-district in District 6-5a. He graded out at 81% over their 10 game schedule.
