Hello everyone. Although Bennett is known for his defenses, he does not have many defensive players committed at this point. Does anyone know why? I thought that he would have several by now. Any thoughts?

I think that's just a reflection of the glaring holes on offense. The offensive line has done a terrific job holding things together this year, but we all know they need to add bodies there. And Richuel Massey is just too good to pass up.

Keep in mind, there are a lot of guys (like the WR from Arp HS) who are athletic enough that they could play multiple positions, on either side of the ball.

He'll fill out his class with a nice balance of players on each side of the ball.

Agreed...Bennett likes to recruit athletes that can play on either side of the ball, including OL/DL. Oh, btw, was Cofer considering SMU?

Last I heard (read) he still is considering SMU. Do you hear otherwise?

Cofer is still very interested in SMU. But it may be until December or even January before he makes a decision. Last report I got, he was waiting to see who else offered him a scholarship.
