What's the latest on your boys from Highland Park? I want to see those two big linemen, at least, end up at SMU. And it sounds like Foran is a real good player, too, but I can't get a feel for how interested he is in us.

Those HP boys you mentioned are real SMU fans,especially since Eidson,Warren and Karrington are doing so well.They also see examples of the potent HP offense being adopted. The big guys would typically need development.The coaches only need ask Eidson how good they are since they were his backups.Foran would come asap if he could be assured he could compete at QB.HE has as many skills as any Texas QB this year including Meeks as his stats would indicate. Wolcott the kicker appears to be going elsewhere(Doak Walker kin)unless something quick.He is a real d-1 player and has all the stats to prove it.Hollingsworth may be a casualty of already having a great recruit committed ahead of him.Charly Berry may be a solid D-end prospect.He played along side Karrington before getting hurt but is well thought of by coaches and has upside(Not as big or fast as Karrington but tough). Others do not have the size or upside for d-1..
