Seen at Ford Stadium Saturday

I saw some of the recruits who were at the game, including SMU commitments Caleb Peveto and Zach Hall.
Also saw a guy who's jacket said "Turner" on it, but he certainly wasn't big enough to be Bryan Turner, the offensive lineman who already has committed to the Ponies. Someone told me it's WR Rashad Turner (6-0, 180) of Marshall, Texas — which of course is right in the heart of Bennett Country.
Does anyone know if that's the right guy?
Also saw a huge lineman wearing a black and red Panthers jacket and hat. Was he one of the big guys from Hillcrest HS in Dallas? Which one?

The lineman was Justin Boren of the Colleyville Heritage Panthers. He and his father have been at EVERY game along with Zack Hall of Irving who has been there with his girl friend. Both of these players are very SOLID commitments.
Also there yesterday was Cedric Cofer, 6-4, 295, DT from Desoto. He is out for the rest of the season with a leg injury. I believe he had been playing with a broken leg, ala Bill Kieley.

with Lute Croy graduating this year, we could sure use a horse like Cofer to help fill the depth chart at the NT position in years to come. I really like Bennett's focus on area players, since that approach will also help us build a local fan base. I'm really looking forward to the day that we are playing meaningful games (for conference championships) at Ford Stadium in front of 30,000 crowds. I hope there are a lot of local players who want to be a part of that and playing in front of their family and friends.

Along the Lute Croy/Cedric Cofer idea: when does Marcus Walker start getting playing time?

And I think that was actually Bryan Turner at the game. Maybe that means he's not the 290 he's listed at?

That was Boren? He's a monster!
He's got to be bigger than he's listed. From my seat (a few rows behind the recruits), he looked like he's 320 or more, and not fat at all. What a beast.
