Maybe this is old news, but I just read that a guy who had previously committed to A&M is now considering multiple schools, including SMU.
Will Oliver
Lindale, Texas
Center
6-4, 265, 5.0
Second-team all-state, second-team all-East Texas, and first-team all-district as a junior in 2001.
The report I found said he's thinking about Nebraska, Texas Tech, SMU, West Virginia, Texas A&M, TCU.

What does that mean for the other centers SMU is supposed to be recruiting: Eddie Montoya and Austin Russell?
According to someone on this board, Montoya (6-4, 300, 5.0) of Tulsa (Washington HS), Okla., has been offered by SMU, as well as by Purdue, OklahomaState, Kansas and Tulsa. No word yet on which way he's leaning. And Russell, of Carrollton (Newman Smith HS), Texas center Austin Russell (6-3, 320, 5.4, 1110 SAT) is still considering SMU, along with LSU, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and Iowa.
Anyone know what's up with those two?

Montoya will be a hard sell. Oklahoma State and Purdue are pushing hard to get him, and Oklahoma is now getting into the fray. He'd be a sensational signing for the Ponies, but it might be tough to get him.

Will Oliver is leaning heavily toward Nebraska, although he also is considering Texas Tech and TCU.
