Does anyone have any information on any potential SMU football recruits?

Are we going after James Battle, the QB at Denton Ryan or any of his teammates?

What about Bill Foran at HP?

I wonder if the Chris Phillips commitment makes Battle scratch us off his list. Sure hope not, because he's amazingly gifted, especially running with the ball.

As for his teammates, he has a TE/WR teammate named William (I think) Dowdy who's huge and fast, and supposedly he's considering SMU. And there's supposed to be a pretty big offensive lineman who's considering us. But we don't have a shot at Jarvis Moss, the studly DE up there in Denton.

Thanks DallasDieHard. I did not realize Phillips is going to SMU. SMU is assembling some great recruits. I sit here and wonder what kind of talent we could get if we could put together a winning season. The future of SMU football is bright.
