Fred Turner and others
Posted: Mon Nov 25, 2002 12:56 pmFred Turner is definitely very very fast--crazy kind of Fast. Once past the line of scrimmage he turns on another gear, the kind ordinary mortals only dream about. That said I don't see him as a RB in college. He is small and probably couldn't take that kind of punishment week after week. Maybe a WR. Probably a DB. Has he ever played DB at any level? At any rate he is a stud and with that kind of speed the coaches will find a position for him.
BTW Connell for Coppell who I have seen play for several years is a Cardwell clone. I'm afraid this guy is going to get overlooked and some smart school like TT is going to pick him up. He is a football player. 'Nuff said.
While we'ar at it the QB at Irving can also play. He is a fine passer who can also run. Our guy Zach Hall also looks good. Covers a lot of ground from sideline to sideline from his MLB slot.
