WACO Midway beat one of the most talent filled teams in the Country in previously undefeated Denton Ryan whose roster includes 6 Division 1A recruits( 4 Big 12 and one Florida St). Randolph is No 9 in Red in picture. Mario Edwards perhaps the No. 1 recruit in Country shown too.

Apparently Randolph was "slowed by injury" although he definitely suited up

Is he projected as a tall wide out or will they keep him on Defense?

Bummer of a loss for my alma mater Denton Ryan but on the bright side, my team senior year still has the best record in school history 15-0!!!

I believe they wish to keep him on defense

Despite not being back to full speed, Randolph made a big impact in the game with a monster hit on Ryan's QB and by causing a key fumble that stopped a key drive by denton Ryan. Midway's entire secondary is impresive.

I watched the highlites of that game. There was another big kid in the secondary that I think had two Ints including game clinching Pick-6. What's his story. Looked like a pretty athletic kid from highlites

The kid with the big game was the other starting safety #6, and I think he has D1 size and athleticism. He has come on strong his senior year, but I am not sure who is recruiting him or what his grades are like from a projected eligibility standpoint. I was told that he and Randolph have played together since they were kids and they are a force together in the secondary at the high school level. With them and their solid corners, they can load up on the run and take chances on defense. It takes a balanced offense to give their defense trouble.

Contrary to some speculation and comments I have seen, I have heard #6 and Randolph have skills on the offensive side, but they have enough talent where they have not had to use them both ways. If push comes to shove you could see either of them on offense to take advantage of any mis-matches on the offensive side.

name is apparently Orion Stewart and he's already been All-District in both BB and FB as a Junior-also plays WR. Orion-love the name-might want to get a Scout out to look at him-may be a recruited athlete at BB too.
