He's better than Honorable Mention - I have a hard time believing there are two 3A quarterbacks better than Meeks.

Although it's somewhat academic, I also agree that it's hard to imagine any 3A QBs that are better. I've seen him play for 3 years and I suspect he's about as good as there is at any leve.
My observation is that, particularly at the lower levels, those all-state teams are primarily made up of players from teams that went pretty far into the playoffs. Mt. Vernon lost in the first round.
