Gatewood - Best WR to hit Big D since M. Irvin

After the most recent pick ups (and de-commits from Ok. State) - this year's recruiting class looks to be the best since the early 80s (When consequently SMU was in the top 25 each year).
Adding Gatewood to this already talented class would be the crown jewel. Just as Eric Dickerson and Craig James before him - Gatewood would be the toast of Dallas should he arrive at SMU.
Anyone know when he visits????

I'd love gatewood, but I'd trade him for a monster DT - our problem is not that we have not had enough good recievers to throw to - its getting pressure on opposing QB's - look at every program at any level that has been turned around - they start with the defensive line and go from there.

I'm not sure I'm ready to put Gatewood in the Dickerson/James class just yet, but the so-called "experts" sure make him sound like a star.
But I agree with gostangs - we already have a lot of receivers on the roster, some of who are real good. I'll take a big nasty in the middle of the defensive line. Any of them out there still thinking about SMU?

I think I remember hearing that Gatewood visits SMU the weekend of Jan. 10-12.
