That isn't who I am Image, but according to rivals, he is thinking about axing us off his list. He is a good player, and it would have been nice to have him.

If we have 8 'ships left (assuming we shoot for the 25 max), I see our needs as:

1 TE
1 TE/FB
2 Safteys/defensive backs
2 LB (1 inside/ 1 outside)
1 DL (preferably a large tackle)
1 utility, held for best available or Bartel

1 LB

I want:
1 more BIG offensive lineman
2 BIG defensive tackles
2 linebackers
2 safeties
1 "best player available" - regardless of position (Gatewood maybe?)

Since I'm from DeSoto, you know I need to see Cedric Cofer play for the Ponies!

Can anyone out there (who knows a lot more than I do) offer a comparison of Berryman, Ingram and Cleveland, and maybe rank them in order of preference?

From what I've been able to gather on the Internet, I think Berryman is the strongest of the three, Cleveland is the fastest and Ingram is the best combination of both.

Anyone know any updates?Ï€

what's the word on Berryman? I thought he visited weeks ago and was impressed with SMU. Does he have official visits lined up with others? Are we still in ursuit? Have we offered? I'd like to see another good size LB in this class and I thought we had a shot at J.B.

SMU may be getting back in the picture with Berryman. He cancelled a visit to Pitt saying it was too far away from his family. He has visit SMU and Kansas and will visit Iowa St and Arizona in next two weeks. It doesn't take a genuis to figure out those schools ain't exactly around the corner. He said he had an open mind about the remaining schools which is good news since he thought about crossing SMU off his list a few weeks ago although he was extremely happy with his visit to SMU at the time of his visit.

If Ingram is LSU bound and Cleveland is wavering, can we get Berryman? I thought he and his father liked what they saw at SMU and he's as big and as fast as any of the LBs I've seen on our list. What's the word on JB?

Contrary to my previous post, I have heard that Ingram is definitely goint to LSU and we have backed off.
