Will be nice when reporters realize we are a BCS school as well.

We need to start a billion treads talking about how great KP will be next year and how many records he will break...and sprinkle in a few ProCombat mock-ups...kids love those.

The comments underneath the article are ridiculous.

First Weis goes after Printz while OC at Florida, now he is going after Dieter.

Wow, thanks for mentioning those. Hilarious. I guess that between potentially committing to Weis from South Bend and having family on the police force (assuming that based on the comments) in a small town he is a target.

SMU might look more attractive to him if he wants to keep the local criticism to a duller roar.

Too bad that David Perkins expression of interest never turned into anything, would have loved to read the comments up there if he committed to SMU after having decommitted from ND.

Has Dieter had a visit to SMU? That usually sells them.

I know he came for 7 on 7 and I think he was one of the vistors during the JJ/ASU weekend, although he was sick with something.

Kansas? Charlie Weis? Do we even see that as competition? Interesting.

"SMU is one of those great schools--up and coming program moving to the big east--really doing big things," he explains. "Kansas is one of those programs that is getting taken over by Coach Weis and I think will be able to do a lot of good things so really between those two schools I'll have a great choice."

Dieter says he plans to tell the coaches next week of his decision, but will wait to make his public announcement until January 3rd when he takes part in the inaugural Semper Fidelis All American Bowl game in Phoenix. He graduates this month from Washington and will enroll at whatever school he chooses in January.

SMU: "one of those great schools"
KU: "I think will be able to a lot of good things"
Hmm... sounds like SMU!
Of course this is before the Wies visit.
