Let's hope after 4 years we can finally get more than one high caliber young man from Skyline to SMU. Bring him on. I just hope he is good.

Check him out SMU86. Looks awesome to me. Of course, when your good (football player), things can change quickly. We all know that from our experience. However, the point is, if June Jones is seeing prospects, probably all of the coaches are seeing prospects. And, it has been said on this board that Ron Myers went out to see recruits and June Jones should also. Well, it sounds like he is.

He might have meant attend junior day? Because the tweet before was
Rashaad Samples
A&M said they rolling out the red carpet when I make my visit loo
Either way I am glad he like SMU and could see himself playing here.

I hope we get this guy. But also, I feel some satisfaction about the coaches making an effort to bring in quality players.

I know this doesn't help the recent trend to dogpile on top of our coaches for their recruiting, but Mason and June have been talking to Rashaad since he was a sophomore. His offer came in the spring of that year and he has constantly had positive things to say about SMU. A big part of this is the first hand knowledge he gained from watching his brother-in-law Aldrick Robinson play. By being so close to someone who has had success in Coach Jones system, he understands just how far a receiver can go at SMU. I think we have a really good chance at him, but with the level of talent he possesses there is no question it will be a fight.
On another note, I really like the love our coaches are showing Skyline. I hope this is something we keep
Building on in the next couple of years.

True and it is a dead period so if he did see him yesterday it would have been a recruiting violation. I hope he wasn't talking about a visit yesterday.

It's good to hear Jones out there doing recruiting.
