They have 2 returning QB's with starting expeience.
With Marks onboard, and a dozen or so more recruits visiting this weekend, this should be interesting.
The Pirate might be up and running sooner than expected.

They'll be in a bowl next year, Leach has never had a problem developing QBs and he has a few good options already on the roster. Leach likes to sub receivers a lot so Marks should be a key contributor right away.

Don't kid yourself, Wazzu was 6 points away from going to a bowl this season and their team was pretty damn awful. Wazzu will be in a bowl next season and Marks will be a big part of the turnaround. Washington State may be in the middle of nowhere and their degrees may be worth less than snotty tissue but they're in a top football conference and they just bagged themselves a legit coach, their days of being a doormat are over.

Posted: Mon Jan 16, 2012 8:53 pmPrice was a decent coach but the '98 cougars got to Rose on a very down year for USC. They still beat wsu 42-14. But you are right, so many bowls have given a lot of space to pac12 teams.
