Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLASSShhhhhhhhhhh!! Don't bother JJ while he is in the islands enjoying the golf tournament.
GO PONIES!!!
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLAWhere are those people saying having klemm shoulder the load for us was fine? where are those people that said it is ok that we weren't trying harder in texas?
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLAWell, we have hired a Texas recruiter. Can't say that the results have been very spectacular.
GO PONIES!!!
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLAThere are no more quarterbacks left for 2013 or 2014.
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLA
hes been here a week so I dont expect too much out of him but a little noise would be nice. crickets is all i am hearing.
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLAWe probably let the best recruiter in the Nation get away when Klemm walked out the door. He has like 16 commitments during the time he worked for SMU and UCLA. You are going to be disappointed if you are expecting Phillips to match Klemm and this is coming from a guy that wanted him on the staff since 2007. Also, the Dead Period just ended on Saturday-so give the guy a little bit of a chance. This is June Jones' mess in Texas not Jason Phillips.

Yes, but it will be interesting to see if we can get a QB of that caliber though. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLAWonder if dad is now going to move his business to California?
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLA
Don't necessarily disagree. However, IMO JJ hired JP to recruit Texas and to use his connections to get us top level recruits. The only thing I have noticed so far are some cougar high recruits changing commits to la tech (of all places). GO PONIES!!!
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLA
Probably, kind of like the Reggie Bush family generating 'business'.
Re: QB Eddie Printz Commits to UCLAYeah but that's the difference between what UCLA and SMU did. UCLA didn't ignore its backyard and then it hired a local guy to sweep up its back yard. SMU ignored its backyard and so there isn't any players left on the board for Phillips to clean up. Too few offers to too few top Texas prospects too late. Not surprising the SMU recruiting board has so few top prospects availiable. Plus Klemm has had a month head start.

People may not like Klemm now but the man can recruit for sure. Should be interesting to see what JP can do next year. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown
