Above and beyond all the great talent represented here, one thing that's really great about this list is the breadth of that talent, signing key players at almost every spot.

We have 3 monster offensive lineman who will eventually be starters if they stay healthy. Another in Martin would be icing on the cake.

We have two great QBs and a running back that everyone is excited over.

A couple of decent receivers (damn, but Gatewood or Rashad Turner would TOTALLY make this class).

We have who I think will be a real pain-in-the-butt for opposing offenses in DT Desmond Jones (I think they need to move him to tackle) and a REAL DE prospect in Newman. 3 potential stars at LB. 2 decent size corners (I'm throwing Turner in at cornet) with speed. And now a safety.

If Sturdivant can play... he might immediately help the team at one safety spot. Sign another 3-star linebacker and we can throw one of them back at strong safety.

If we can sign Thomas Derricks and somebody of Gatewood or Rashad Turner's stature, it's Miller time folks!!

Again, it won't be the Rose Bowl next year, but it sure should be a lot more fun than last year.

According to Rivals, we are now the 26th ranked class in the country. With more commits coming, I'm getting way too excited!

Peruna Punch is dead-on with that breakdown and analysis. We have real talent coming in at every position. Now it looks like we might not have enough space for all the talented guys who like us.

What a great problem to have! It's been a long time since we could say that.

By the way, Gatewood supposedly is leaning toward UT. And didn't Stallion report that Rashard Turner is an academic question mark?

Which begs the question, "Who will be our star receiver of the future?"

We have some who may be good, but who is going to be the go-to guy? We need a Roy Williams clone in this class.

can someone confirm (definitively) whether Massey did or did not go to UT this weekend?

Is his commitment still firm as was reported on this Board over the last several day?

Thanks.

Everyone wants a Roy Williams clone. But until we land a 6-5 guy with that kind of wheels, we have to make do with what we have.

Personally, I have to think that if he's healthy, Comet re-emerges as the go-to guy. I continue to be seduced by Jay Taylor's size and speed and the unbelievable plays he makes in practice. Trey Griffin and Cedric Vinson, in their limited playing time, showed considerable promise last year.

But for my money, after Comet graduates, I think Daniel Francis might just be option A in the passing game.
