It is pretty late in the year to get into hard fought recruiting battles with BCS teams (and apparently current have not worked hard enough to have a good plan B list of recruits with BCS offers) so I figured we could just go up the road and pick off some Sunbelt UNT commits. I have seen some film on LaFrance and that is one kid I would not mind having. Think he is set on Tulane though.

We won't get Feldt if we go after him because his brother just transferred to UNT from Arkansas.

Exactly. Very depressing.

2 of our best 3 recruits from last 2 years are already on campus (Dieter and Holloway). The other one is coming this summer along with the most highly recruited player we've had since ED (Line and GG).

It's this stupid board that is talking about picking off UNT recruits, not the coaches.

Sad that we've sunk to the level of picking off UNT recruits as our strategy.

You are right, the coaches aren't talking about it, they are doing it.

Let's steal some guys from the frogs, we beat them this year so it's worth a shot.

not recruiting same players. We haven't been involved with any of their recruits in probably 3/4 of a year except maybe Griffin Gilbert and the ones they stole from us.
