This kid is becoming a major two sport prospect at Dallas Lincoln. The sophomore QB was named D/FW Newcomer of the Year by the DMN and anyone who watched Lincoln play basketball last year knows what Eaton is capable of on the court. As a freshman he started on Lincoln’s state/national championship team and many basketball recruiting experts had him listed as one of the top 10 freshmen in the country. He is deadly from three point range and there isn’t a sophomore in the country who has played in more bigger games than Eaton. In football, I imagine that being selected as the Newcomer of the Year in the D/FW area as a sophomore would project you as a top 25 recruit nationally in 05. Has there ever been a Texas recruit rank in the top 25-30 nationally in both sports?
