Brandon Bonds

ASSUMING that Bonds is 300 pounds runs a 5.0 and can bench 400 pounds we got a great prospect in Bonds. There are only a handful of kids in America with that type of combination, but who knows since he comes from such a small school. Interesting.

As I recall, his brother was extremely quick for a guy his size. Hopefully the Bonds genetics have produced similar talents.

If those numbers are accurate, we've got a player the coaches really can work with. I think that makes him quicker than Lute Croy, and stronger than Lute was until his senior year or so. With that size and quickness and strength, how long until the Jerry Ball comparisons start?
