2012 Class Top 5

I thought I'd start a positive, fun thread on who everyone thinks are the top 5 recruits in this class.

Here's my first stab:

1 - Gehrig Dieter
2 - Seaver Myers
3 - Daijuan Stewart
4 - Prescott Line
5 - Lincoln Richard

* Christian Holloway (not this class I know but might as well be), Dieter, Roundtree, and Middleton (not this class as well but might as well) are all already on campus and enrolled I believe and will participate in Spring ball (I think).

I choose to move forward on who we have and roll with these future All BE gamers - next year we can do this again. Now, on to 2012 season!

OK, I'm game ...

1 - GG (5 star, top 10 QB in country, from TX, multiple BC offers, chose SMU over UT) ;-)
2 - Gehrig Dieter (Parade All-American, broke several high school receiving records)
3 - Seaver Myers (6'6", 290 lb beast chose SMU over offer by aTm, from TX)
4 - Daijuan Stewart (speedster who will excel in slot, from Louisiana, chose SMU over multiple BCS offers)
5 - Prescott Line (Parade All-American)

*6 - Lincoln Richard (chose SMU over multiple BCS offers, integral part of 2011 TX HS championship team, his teammate from same team also committed to SMU)
*7 - Neil Burcham (co-MVP Elite 11 QB camp, from Arkansas)

;-)

Dieter is a big, competitive kid which I like.

Who are your other 4?

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but there are a couple of things that concern me about him (that I'm not going to post on a public message board). Here's to hoping I'm wrong and he has a huge career at SMU!!

I hear you, Cox. I might whack my previous post about him now that you got me thinking about it.

Who would you replace him with?

I'd keep him where I had him. I was talking about whacking my post asking about why others would exclude him from top 5. Until/unless otherwise, he's definitely top 5 IMHO.

I think he will be a senior in high school this coming year.
