Dennis Smith, Wimberely Linebacker

This three-star recruit has been listed by Scout as an A&M and SMU recruit (only offers per Scout) for at least the last 6 months. Have never read anything about him and his two offers, or where he is headed. Sort of mysterious to me - anyone with news/details on this ?

Might be another grade problem because I see offers from Michigan and Colorado as well om Rivals.

The dude has major legal problems. Busted for stealing I-pods out of school lockers. Also, was in a serious car wreck where his cousin was killed - he was the driver. From what I understand, it was a cut and dry accident and no alcohol or foul play was involved. If I were him I'd go to juco for a year or two and stay out of trouble.

Google his story it is pretty crazy they leave out the ipod stuff and him being homeless for awhile but it is still crazy.
