I don't want to spread bad vibes, but I think we still have a major hurdle to clear with Georgia Tech.
It sounds like he's been a long-time GT fan and probably made a pretty emotional commitment to the Ponies in memory of his father.
Rivals lists him as a "soft verbal", so I'm sure he'll be doing a lot of thinking over the next couple of weeks.

Actually, he grew up a Florida State fan, not a Georgia Tech fan.

Maybe he saw the Silicon Valley Bowl and knows now that the Wac is for real and he should help us get back to where we should be. I was a big Chan Gailey fan when he coached the Cowboys...I will not like him if he gets this recruit.

From what I can tell, he is a pretty solid committment to SMU. I doubt he'll even take any more visits.
