Class Sleeper?

....now that we got several promising CBs, the guy I think may be the HUGE SLEEPER in this class is RB Fred Turner of Arlington Lamar who did DOMINATE in a tough 5A District. 221 carries 1864 yards 8.43 yards per carry and 27 TDs. He was a home-run threat every time he touched the ball(12 plays of over 40 yards), was productive as a receiver out of the backfield and has lightening speed. I can't believe this guy is not more highly recruited. My hope is that we can keep him on offense-probably as a slot or inside receiver. Who do you think the sleepers are among, say our 2 Star recruits? There are more 2 star guys on this team who look like great players than I remember in a long time. Desmond Jones I believe will be a star in the WAC as well.

I think the class sleeper so far is Blake Warren out of Arp. He was highly sought after prior to his commitment to us.

I completely agree with you. I don't think he's that much of a sleeper though. I think we know that he could be capable of greatness.

Wasn't Turner recruited as a DB though?
My top two sleepers are:
C.D. Moss - CB
5-10, 180, 4.5
two star rating
Number 14 on Austin American Statesman
Central Texas Prospects
Chose us over Arkansas.
and
Brandon Bonds - DT
6-1, 300, 5.0
two star rating
Only chose us over UTEP, but if we
chose him over a three star DE, their
might be something to him we others
overlooked. Size and quickness are a
need on the pony d-line so could get
early playing time.

There's nothing sleeper-ish about Bonds if he's anything like his big bro.
Byron was a man!

Stallion, I think you might just be right. If Turner is indeed 5'10" and can catch...
I have a CONFIRMED report that Turner ran a 4.27!!!!
Going... Going... GONE!
