Pellerin Question For Stallion

I noticed Reynaldo Pellerin has been given a 2 star ranking. Two days ago he was unranked on the Rivals system. Does Rivals automatically give a guy two stars after he commits b/c they did the same thing with Fred Turner. And what other schools were recruiting or offered Pellerin? Thanks

yeah that's what concerns me about 2 star prospects on Rivals-80-90% of the players who get scholarships are at least 2 star players. I'm sure they do some checking but unless the kid has some solid Division 1 offers like Bates or even his teammate Galbreath you'd have to consider him somewhat of a sleeper-doesn't mean he will not make it just that the consensus of Division 1 coaches was not to offer a guy. But I'm sure Flannigan and Bordano would have been 2 star players too. Pellerin is reported to have been offered by Houston(which is starting to finally get some quality commits) and UTEP. You just don't want to fill up you're entire list with guys with few Division options.
