Our very fine and underrated basktball team with their stellar win over Tulsa has captured my imagination. Can this 6-6 345 behemoth play some backup center/PF for the hoopsters next season? Does he play b-ball in hs? You can go back into hiding now Stallion. We'll let you know when next recruitng season rolls around.

I don't know, but I'd be curious to see Martin on the court. Kyle Thornton (the 300-pound OL who committed to UT over the weekend) is a terrific basketball player, and a lot more mobile than you'd think. And I interviewed Arizona Cardinals' OL Leonard Davis when he was a senior in HS and had just committed to UT (after committing to A&M and changing his mind). He was 6-6, 360 in HS, and he sent me a video tape of himself playing basketball. Even then, he could dunk two-handed without a running start. It was unbelievable to see.
