Posted: Fri Jan 31, 2003 8:27 pmI met him briefly one day when he was being shown around by Alex and Donatis...he seemed to really like SMU...that of course, was last semester so I'm not sure about any other visits he's taken.

I don't think this is an authorized visit period right now-maybe someone knows. Maybe the connection with Donnie Nelson will pay some dividends but we definitely will have some competition.

Excellent footwork and can score reliably in the low post but is a bit slow footed and isn't able to get back quickly enough to utilize his size on the defensive end". The experts think he's a top prospect as UT, South Carolina, Virgina, West Virgina, Richmond and SMU have now offered.

Posted: Wed Mar 26, 2003 4:10 amWith those stats, he sounds like a "top project" anyway. A guy his size should be dominating high schoolers on the boards. He would have ridden the pine at UT for 2 or 3 years.
