Yeah I was hearing those as well on Sunday.

Can't remember back that far, but it must have coincided with the last time a kid called the fb office and told Terry Gardner that he was a fb player entering his Sr year and his lifetime dream was to play for SMU. And, that his utopia was reached when SMU hired the greatest football coach to walk the earth. Subsequently, I assume she told him no need to send film, we'll send you scholie papers to sign as there is no doubt that you really, really want to be at SMU and that's who june the great wants.

Not quite sure, but there's a lot of basketball recruiting news over on the Basketball board.

I know, kids shouldn't decide on a school based on a message board, but it's embarrassing to think anyone would write this about their own team. How it affects their decisions varies from one player to the next, but they do read this board, and posts like this can be nothing but counterproductive.

They don't, and the point is to drive this point so deep that the HC decides he might want to do something about it. Embarrassed, you bet - if I'm the HC and I have let the situation digress to anywhere near this point.

IMO jj's complete lack of recruiting will start to show up this year and next year will be an embarrassment.

I still think it is better than last year .With getting our hopes up only to have so many jump ship because of the ASU deal.

Well I'm guessing no new news unless decommits after this game...

Unfortunately it doesn't help recruiting nearly as much as coaches that recruit would.

Wonder if our staff actually went to any hs games last week? Washington is quite some distance from here so I would guess none.

heard they were recruiting in cali last week but didn't find any good recruits at Pebble Beach.
