Here's a list of some of the top juniors in 2002. I have no idea if any of them are interested in SMU, but it's fun to dream, right?

RB Earl Goldsmith (Jr.) 5'10 185 4.5 Denton Ryan (2 stars)
QB Josh Welch (Jr.) 5'11 180 4.7 Copperas Cove (3 stars)
RB Kenny Hicks (Jr.) 5'8 180 4.4 The Woodlands (3 stars)
RB Samson Taylor (Jr.) 6'1 195 4.3 The Woodlands (3 stars)
RB Denard Cox (Jr.) 5'11 175 4.5 Ennis (2 stars)
TE Tate Casey (Jr.) 6'7 215 4.9 Longview (3 stars)
OL Jeray Chatham (Jr.) 6'5 260 4.8 Spring - Westfield (3 stars)
QB Joseph Fields (Jr.) 6'3 205 4.5 BT Washington (3 stars)
TE Tate Stewart (Jr.) 6'2 235 4.8 Katy (3 stars)
RB Chancy Campbell (Jr.) 5'10 175 4.4 Converse - Judson (4 stars)
RB Gary Green (Jr.) 5'9 170 4.4 SA Madison (3 stars)

Tate Casey and Chancy Campbell are the most appealing to me, but I don't know much about any of them.

Samson Taylor seems extremely appealing. A guy with that size and speed is a rare commodity.

I have Sampson Taylor listed at a 4.5. Either way, he's very fast and has extremely good size and strength for a running back. But a 4.3 is extremely fast - there are very few legitimate 4.3s out there.
