Offensive lineman considering Ponies

Postby Lotus » Wed Apr 02, 2003 1:17 pm

According to a newspaper down here, Round Rock (Texas) guard Jake Arndt (6-4, 265) has SMU in a list that also includes Michigan, Texas, Penn State, Mizzou and Baylor.

I haven't seen him play, but I'll ask around.

Has anyone mentioned this guy yet?

Weatherford offensive tackle Robert Clark (6'7", 235, 4.78) lists SMU and Oklahoma, Texas Christian, Baylor and Texas Tech.

I've never heard of him, but it sounds like some good schools are interested in him.

Yup - Clark's been mentioned here before. Everything I've read suggests his stock is climbing daily.

...usually this time of year the teams mentioned by the players are the teams that the kid is interested in-you generally can't tell too much about the players the teams are interested in until they start getting invited to camps, visits and offers. Some of these kids mentioning UT, OU, ND, Miami et al won't even get a Division 1 offer.
