#51? What gives?

So, I have only just started reading the recruiting board. I have to say that the football board is all sunshiners compared to the Debbie Downers on the recruiting board. And I'm a little dismayed that we would welcome guys to our team by telling them how they should have gone to SFA. But besides that point, I am confused by rivals picking our class as the #51 class. This ranking puts us above all of our future conference mates except for Rutgers. What gives? In other words, please, destroy my spirit again and tell me why this ranking means nothing and our recruits suck...

I think everyone is looking at offers more that what rankings. Everyone starting doing that this year as suggested by Stallion as it seems to be more accurate.

3 top 100 players at their positions, one is top 25. Rivals overweights those vs. average stars.

Yes, as Stallion has said that star inflation is an issue (specifically as it relates to 3 star players). Even position ranking can be off due to star inflation. But our top recruit is Gaines so far as he has a nice offer list. I think he will be a good big wr for us.
