Posted: Sat May 10, 2003 4:24 pmTexas has already received commitments from 3 of the top 51 players in the country for 2004 (center LaMarcus Aldridge from Dallas Seagoville rated #5, PG Daniel Gibson from Houston Jones rated #14, and forward Dion Dowell from Texas City rated #51). As much as I hate to admit it, with it's past few recruiting classes UT has now joined the Duke, UNC, Arizonas as powers in the recruiting wars of college hoops. Rick Barnes is getting it done for those crappy orange fools. To hell with the Longhorn Nation.
