It's killing me that this guy is even slightly considering Baylor and not us. If he wants to follow his brothers to Texas, that's one thing. But Baylor? An awful team that will get killed 6-8 times this year, never win a conference game and not throw the ball? Over a team that plays in his hometown, where his family, friends, high school teammates and coaches could come watch him play?

Come on, coaches. Let's get in the running for this guy. He's an unbelievable player.

Agreed. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this guy. One of my buddies is a coach at St. Marks and after speaking with him, he claims that this guy would be a real difference maker on our team. With the addition of this guy (assuming he plays safety) and that D-tackle from Lake Highlands posted previously, we could have one HELL of a Defense.

Get to work on your buddy then! Need to plant the SMU seed in Thornton's ear.

He's now listing Texas as his favorite.

Buddha, you're calling Baylor awful? Take a look at what your own team has done lately. Baylor has a new coaching staff and I guarantee their O will include plenty of passing.

Is Waco so far away that his family and friends can't see him play? I would be willing to bet that his family and friends might even have the means to travel twice as far to Austin to see his brother play.
