Kyle Daley of Arlington (Lamar) has only 165 pounds on his 6-foot frame, meaning as he continues to grow, he should add more muscle to his frame, presumably extending a kicking range that already has delivered the first-team all-area kicker a career-long field goal of 47 yards.

Jeez, don't we have enough kickers? We already have McMurtray and Wolcott, and Mentzel could kick in a pinch if he had to. We don't have the scholarship to burn on another kicker.
