for total catches with 69 catches and is 34 yards from breaking his record for receiving yards. I believe has 1,236 yards receiving. Week before last he had a 99 yard TD reception.

Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's RecordI've said this guy is for real for a while now.
Our recruiting class is better than many on here are trying to spin it.
Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's Record
JaBryce is one of the players everyone like because of his upside. Not a speed burner but a very good player. There are a few under recruited players in this class but no school that expect to compete to get to a BCS game should have a class full of under recruited players hoping 4 or 5 workout. That causes depth problems. Wait a minute, SMU already has depth problems while we mention 4 or 5 really good players on the team. Don't try to spin it like it is a TCU class or something like that. #HammerDown
Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's Record
Lol no spin, just third part confirmation (scout, rivals, Espn, etc). I'm happy if we find a few gems but minus out the transfer RB. We have what a TE, isn't that pretty much everything I might be missing one or two.
Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's RecordLet's hope June and staff can keep him and the other recruits who are getting more looks from the traditional football powers. Remember last year.....June's selfish acts and ego caused half our recruiting class to decommit a few weeks before signing day.
Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's RecordJaBryce Taylor was named District 21-5A MVP and ended with some huge stats-87 catches for 1628 yards 19 yards per catch and 13 TDs

Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's RecordJaBryce Taylor and Lufkin were eliminated by Plano West a week and a half ago but Taylor went out in style as Prime Time Player.
Lufkin rallied behind speedy junior receiver Jabryce Taylor’s 237 yards with three touchdowns on nine catches. Lufkin trailed by 17 points until late in the third quarter. He had touchdown catches for 55, 33 and 47 yards. "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's RecordHere's some 2012 Highlites from Taylor's top game against A&M Consolidated. 4 big plays-2 bombs, 2 TDs and an Int in endzone-Look for No. 83. The other stud making big plays is Jamal Jeffrey one of the Superstars of the 2014 Class-hopefully we have offered-A&M already has. BTW A&M Consolidated was a top playoff team this year and only lost a few games. They had just broken No. 1 ranked Lake Travis' long winning streak the week before. The final of this game was like 71-68 in 3 OTs-I think I mentioned it in this thread or a previous one

Re: JaBryce Taylor Breaks Dez Bryant's RecordI've seen Lufkin play a couple of times this year, and the guy he reminded me of was Nicks of the NYGiants. He's not as big and strong, I know, but he's a tall guy with good speed, runs good routes and has reliable hands. Bring him on.
