Hey RedRiverPony - nice to have some recruiting news from north of the border! Here's some more from down south....

Romonce Taylor (5-10, 182, 4.4) of Belton, Texas, is a highly-decorated CB who earned all-district honors as a junior.

Schools in the Running: Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, SMU, BYU and Baylor (first five are his favorites at this point - SMU, BYU and Baylor are on the outside looking in, at least so far.).

If the list of schools on his list aren't evidence enough, take my word for it. I've seen him play, and he's really, really good. This is not one of those Deion-line corners who can run but is afraid to hit. He will fight for every pass, and will knock heads with the biggest receivers and ball-carriers. He's really good coming up to make the tackle on running plays, because he's extremely strong.

If Coach Bennett sticks with his theory of rotating lots of DBs in and out of the game, this guy sounds like a keeper.

Oklahoma and Arkansas are the early leaders for Taylor.

Rivals says he'll commit to Texas if he gets an offer.
