I saw where UT is trying to get into the race for Richuel's brother.
Does anyone have more of an update on him?

Where did you see this? As of right now Texas has 19/20 commitments w/ only three or four more ships left to hand out. They also have five WR commitments and 4 DB... Three of those ships are reserved for Rhett Bomar, Adrian Peterson, and Franklin Okam (all top 25 national players). I'm not doubting their interest in Massey, but they've got very few ships to throw around.

yeah I doubt that Massey is one of the Top 50 players or even Top 100 players on their board. They can afford to sit back and wait for the 4 star and 5 star guys. This is why I don't mind UT filling up early.

Good point - if UT, A&M, OU, etc., fill up early, we become a bigger player in local recruiting.

I saw a new report that said Massey (they call him "D.J." instead of Donald) is considering a lot of schools now: Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Purdue, SMU, TCU, Tulsa, Utah, Vanderbilt and Wyoming.
B ut it said that Oklahoma is the only camp he plans to attend (he's already gone) and that he hasn't received ANY offers yet? Can that be true?
It also lists him as a quarterback, not a receiver. I thought SMU had projected him as a receiver.

he's from a little 3A school Hillsboro-he has good not unbelievable stats-he's a great athlete though and that will get him offers sooner or later. The only players getting offers this early are the "can't miss" players so it really shouldn't cause too much concern that he hasn't racked up offers yet. I'd be surprised if SMU hasn't offered yet though unless there is an academic issue.

He's fine academically. That shouldn't get in the way of his acceptance at SMU or any other school he ends up choosing.
