SMU offers another Marlin DB
Posted: Tue Jul 01, 2003 2:02 pmMatterial Richardson (5'11", 185, 4.5, 30-inch vertical), a safety at Marlin (Texas) High School has received a scholarship offer from SMU. He also has offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Houston and TCU.

(By the way, the report I saw has Richardson as a 3-star safety prospect, and has bumped his teammate, safety De'Nerian Wrighter, from a 3-star guy to 4 stars. At his size, I'd guess Richardson might be more of a cornerback prospect in college. Don't know for sure.)
