SMU on center's short list

Postby Lotus » Tue Jul 15, 2003 1:08 pm

San Antonio (MacArthur) center Billy Harrison (6'2", 255, 4.8) was an all-district honoree last year, averaging five pancakes a game. He's listing SMU, Mizzou (offer), North Texas and Southwest Texas. He's considered a pretty solid prospect by most of the services I've seen, and is expected to add considerable size and strength.

A solid prospect...ok, when he gets an offer from one of the big boys, then he is solid. And no, Mizzou is not a big boy(Texas, A&M, LSU...these are big boys)

Seems a bit small for a center?

255 lbs. for a high school senior ain't bad. You know there can't be much baby fat in there if he can go 4.8 either.

hahaha,
I'm truly sorry you were recruited by no one as a high school student, instead choosing to attend a large school where you could professionally sniff jocks, but your senseless bantering does not amuse, interest, or compel anyone.
If you're a rival, welcome aboard, as you're free to roam and intelligently discuss topics, but your current posts reveal your ignorance, immaturity, and ridiculous and undefined bias.

Mizzou's not a bad school at all. They may not be top 10 or anything, but most of the "experts" seem to think that with QB Brad Smith running the show, the team will get better fast and recruits will want to join Smith up there. An offer from Mizzou at this point is pretty darn good.
I really shouldn't drink and type.
